Dave Ghoul (artist and designer D.E. Christman of Grendel's Den Design Studio fame) has been involved with the Dark Alternative scene in the
Philadelphia Metro aria and throughout the US for almost 15 years. During that time he has had his hands in DJing events large and small,

also performed at many conventions such as Nerdcon, Philcon and Convergence, outdoor festivals like the Clark Park Music and Arts Festival,
and many fundraisers such as the Benefit Show for Musicians Made Homeless by Hurricane Katrina held at World Live Café.
His musical styles vary but he mainly focuses on playing Goth, Industrial, EBM, Electro, Synthpop, 80s, Punk Rock, Rockabilly, Glam Rock
and Metal. There have been times though when he can be heard playing other styles such as Funk, Big Band, Old School, Trip Hop and even

The SAGA Thus Far...
Back in 1988, at the age of 11, I first heard "Rigor Mortis" by A Split Second. Little did I know at the time that a song
I heard in my youth on a local Texas college radio station would change my perspective on music forever. Electronic music
became a driving force in my life. From the raves and clubs I religiously attended in my late teenage years to the parties
I promoted and organized in my early 20's, the love of music and the need to share that love with anyone that would listen
led to my inevitable career as a DJ. I started out in late 2002 as a 80's DJ playing and collecting 80's vinyl. I opened up at
raves and played at house parties or anywhere that I could have the opportunity to move a crowd. By 2003 I was asked to
perform at Philadelphia's infamous Gothic/Industrial multimedia fetish event "SHOCK THERAPY.†Ever diligent to
expand my horizons, I began collecting a variety of electronic styles (ebm, darkwave, terror ebm, synthpop etc.) Patiently
I taught myself the art of beat matching and mixing these forms of music into my sets and by 2005 I was offered a residency at
"SHOCK THERAPY“ - Philly's premier Cyber Fetish event Run by Reno Rox & Dr.Octo-pussy. Attaining a good reputation and the freedom to
express myself creatively I began organizing events fusing EDM commonly played at raves with Gothic / Industrial music. The "FULL MOON
GATHERING" and "C.H.U.D" events of late 2005 are still fondly remembered by many as a huge success in bringing people from many
musical tastes and backgrounds together in harmony. Opening new ears to the gothic /industrial sound caught the
attention of a number of promoters. To my credit and honor I performed at "DRACULA'S BALL,†the largest
Gothic / Industrial event in Philadelphia and usually play weekly at Philly's longest running gothic/industrial/80's
alternative night "NOCTURNE." I am featured in NYC frequently at the "SMack!" and "Byte" Parties, and went on to
play the "BLACK SUN FESTIVALS" in New Haven Connecticut. These are merely the highlights. The biggest highlight i have achieved and
acomplished is playing at the Wave Gotik Treffen event in Leipzig Germany with 20,000+ People attending! This is the worlds largest
Gothic/Industrial event! I have also had the honor of spinning at Summer Darkness in the Netherlands! As a Dj, I love what
I do & I am completely self promoted. Im living my dreams of opening minds and bringing the music I love to the masses.

DJ Totentanz
Since the start of her career in 2000, DJ Totentanz has been resident DJ for 5 regular club nights, appeared as a guest DJ at nearly every
major Philly scene-related event (including Dracula's Ball and regular appearances at Nocturne), and has had numerous gigs throughout the
Northeastern US. At the beginning of 2002, she made her international debut at an event in Lyon, France, and is working hard to become a much
more substantial force on the international circuit. Over the years, she has shared the DJ booth with many of the biggest names in the scene
and helped promote and organize concerts for bands like Grendel, Psyclon Nine, Life Cried, and Panic Lift.
While her style is generally focused on cutting-edge, beat-driven industrial with the dancefloor in mind, she can hold her own within a
variety of electronic genres and isn't afraid to let her sense of humor show every now and then. Preferred genres include: Hard Industrial
and EBM (mostly recent, but old-school as well), Rhythmic Noise, Hard Techno, Electro, Futurepop, and a smattering of Synthpop for good
measure.
When not behind the decks, DJ Totentanz is a frequent traveller, has started studying German, and is a self-professed “really big nerdâ€.
Rumor has it, she may very well be Chuck Norris' favorite DJ, but Chuck Norris' people couldn't be reached for comment ;)
