Well, upon purchasing this album, I must say I was skeptical.. From only knowing one of the tracks [ I Never Said ] from the play it gets at the nightclub I attend, I thought this was going to be another bad "one track wonder album"... but I was SO wrong. The album opens up with a throw back to the nitzer ebb style ,chanty , ebm anthemic track "You never know". A sure dance floor hit..with its pumping bass and solid synth-lines it's a real feel good track. Then on to the second track of the album : "I Never Said" . a song that blew me me away with its genre bending quality of old school ebm angst, and flowy electro. another scream your lungs out to it's chorus of IT'S! NO! GOOD!. Another another club hit.The third track "Ibiza". You'd expect it to be some lame trancey dance song. But this song is So far from that, with its dark bass line and alarm interludes.. awesome song. The only part that put me off was the over use of the letters K-L-O-Q in this particular track. But the music is creative and spastic but simple enough to dance to as well. The Fourth track : we're just physical. A true electro song. Awesome to dance to. A genre cross over track with the fixins for an old school ebm shout fest with the synth lines of dancey synthpop. So long cylon, the next track on the album brings a powerful cold bassline with the over lay of samples of blips and beeps. Good for cruising on the high way or dancing the night away on the floor.. Although a bit repetitive. Kloq film !. by far my favorite track on the album for relaxing to. With a seemingly sweet electro/drum and bass drum line.. suddenly non distinct female vocals come out of nowhere, up lifting the powerfulness of the track. Then the break, very vocal trance-esque. I couldn't believe that this track was on the album! I was listening to it and I thought.. did my ipod just skip to above & beyond.. but the timing of this track after the bold dance tracks before is a perfect interlude. Before the somber yet moving, "Move Forward." futurepop basslines and then a organic sounding bass and shrill but perfect clips and beeps.. This track is unlike like any other in its genre. "Connecting" another genre bender. Unlike any of its kind. A great feel good dance track.. "my safe place." A seemingly noise driven song.. bends what we think noise sounds like. And then a slow synthpop steady flow, almost a kin to Depeche Mode's "HOME" "Lucky star." I was NOT impressed with this track. KM1: a great noise track but a bit repetitive I really enjoyed this album and I would DEFINETELY recommend it to anyone who enjoys dancing and genre bending albums, and creative music I give it a rating of VERY good.
